Overview
Hong Kong is a unique adoption program. It’s small, with few agencies having programs, but it is quite stable and a good option for certain families. The children in this program receive extensive medical care, are very well cared for, live in well-maintained child-centers, and are available primarily due to special needs. These needs are usually moderate or severe. Families usually will have extensive background and medical information presented to them so that they may be matched with a child who is a good ‘fit’ for their family.
Children Available for Adoption from Hong Kong: Only children with special needs are available. They range in age from 6 months-15 years.
